Look in your Hosts file. You will have to open it in Notepad. See if there are any entries in there. If so post those entries back here.

Host file is usually:
c:\windows\system32\drivers\etc\

You can also flush your DNS to see if that works.

Start/Run
Type in
ipconfig /flushdns

I tried pagefix and it turned out to be not dns related. I'll try your other suggestion though thanks for the reply.

In opened it in notepad and this is what I got :

Quote:
# Copyright (c) 1993-1999 Microsoft Corp.
#
# This is a sample HOSTS file used by Microsoft TCP/IP for Windows.
#
# This file contains the mappings of IP addresses to host names. Each
# entry should be kept on an individual line. The IP address should
# be placed in the first column followed by the corresponding host name.
# The IP address and the host name should be separated by at least one
# space.
#
# Additionally, comments (such as these) may be inserted on individual
# lines or following the machine name denoted by a '#' symbol.
#
# For example:
#
# 102.54.94.97 rhino.acme.com # source server
# 38.25.63.10 x.acme.com # x client host

127.0.0.1 localhost
Is this what you meant?

Thanks again.

Yep, that's what I meant. There are no entries in there so that is okay.

I have been trying to read the screenshots that you posted. It appears that the first one says that the page has timed out. If so that is not generally the fault of your computer/browser but the website where you pressed submit.

That's what I thought too for the first week but it works fine on every other computer except my home one. I even tried to get onto the sight at the same time with my friends laptop and it worked fine on that but not my pc.

If I google it I can view the "cached version" of the main home page (without images) but as soon as I try to sign in it takes me to the " this page can not be displayed page" page.

the website is i-club.com

it's wierd because it's the only page I can't view on my computer, but it works fine on every other computer.

Nothing really else that you can do besides what has been mentioned before. I would try clearing your cache (Tools/Internet Options/Delete Files). Run Windows update making sure that everything is updated. You can also try disabling your Anti-virus and trying the link again. Make sure too that you anti-spyware is not causing the problem by turning it off as well.

It is really just a process of elimination. You have ruled out that it is the website, your DNS and spyware. So it is machine specific and you are running out of possibilities.

Thanks, I'll try that. I'm sure I'll figure it out sooner or later.
