File Downloading....

Hey - wasnt totally sure where to post this...

I run a webpage - is there a way i can prevent people from using my download links that arent ON the page? - like, a way to stop someone from posting a link to download something FROM my server, on another page...

i was assuming htaccess - but couldnt find the code to do so...

hotlinking is turned off - so people cant use pics from my site and link to others - but is there a way to stop people from pasting MY links on other peoples sites to download?

its mainly forum based

You can use .htaccess to block IP's or domains.

Here is a tutorial.

thats helpful..... but... i mean i dont want people copy and pasting my download links on other sites - but i do want my members to be able to download whatever they want.... i made the forum so you cant access file share until you have say, 1500 posts.... so the loyal members earned access - but how can i make sure no OFFSITE downloading is going on?
