Building web page....
I am brand new at this. I am trying to find out how to get started.
How do I find the program "Front Page"? I was told it should be on my pc if I have win.98. Is this true? Where would it be located on my pc. Been working with comp. for only a few years would like to learn how to make a web page. Thanks for the help |

What you will have on your machine will be called Front Page Express. This is a watered-down version of a bad HTML editor. If it is not in Start/Programs/, then look for it on your hard drive in C:/Program Files/.
You do have several other options though. One is to learn HTML using a text editor like Notepad. This is a pretty good learning technique for beginners. It helps you to understand what is going on under the covers. Another option is to download a trial version of Macromedia's Dreamweaver. This is a much better WYSIWYG editor than Frontpage. Kind of expensive if you want to buy it though. Try HTML Goodies, if you want an HTML tutorial.
