sharepoint setup help
i have a sharepoint site all set up, but i am having trouble getting access outside of my network. i am familiar with forwarding ports, but as far as i can tell, sharepoint doesn't use port 80. so from the server, the address looks like:
http://companyweb/sites/example/default.aspx i have an account set up with dyndns, and it works, because i use it for remote desktop into the same server. i just need to know what port to forward, and what the address would look like from the internet (the standard site is just http://companyweb/default.aspx, so i assume that once i know what port, it would just be mydyndns.com/sites/example/default.aspx) edit: ok, found it was using 443, so https:// works now, and i get a login prompt, and it accepts, but i can't see any of my pages. i can get to the main server2k3 web configuration page, but nothing from there. any help is appreciated edit2: it appears i should have done more research before posting. i believe i need certificate services installed, and i don't, so i am doing that now. if anyone knows anything else that may be of service, i would appreciate it. thanks craig
