Cable Internet

I'm getting cable internet this Wednesday and I need to know if I have to add anything to my network adapter to work properly with this kind of set up?

All you need is TCP/IP. If you aren't using File and Printer Sharing then I would uncheck it and Client for Microsoft Networks; it is just safer that way.

Do you mean to also unckeck Microsoft Networks too?
