Don't know where to post this. I hope this is the right fourm for my question.
I got some concerns with my work. I created an email account in yahoo with a fictitious name and emailed our big boss. Is their a way that they (my boss) could trace my location or who sent the email? |

Did you send the email from work?
If not, sure there is a way to get the logs from Yahoo but not likely unless your government requests it or one of the law enforcement agencies requests it. So if you aren't threatening anyone or doing anything illegal then you are probably okay. I wouldn't ever use the account again though.

I sent it from a cyber cafe. I am just trying to help a friend who is having a problem with one of our manager. He was given a disciplinary action without due process, I mean there is this COD thing.
Thanks for your help. Last edited by amigo; 05-22-2006 at 04:54 PM. |
