Angry Fire Mix Cd's

Sup all,

I would like to know if anyone can help me on how to make Mix Cd's.
I have a bunch of mp3 songs I would like to mix together in DJ style form.
What I mean by DJ style form mix is, songA fades out while songB fades in at the same time, just like a DJ. I would like the songs to have continuous mix style with no pauses in-between. Then I would like to burn the mix to listen in to my car.

A couple questions,
Does the mixing take place while songs are in mp3 or wav format?
Is this possible with NERO (latest version)?
If not what other software do I need? ex. soundforge

Any help, info, links surely appreciated.

I believe Sonic Foundry's Acid Pro 3.0 will work with mp3's -- I know Acid 2.0 won't. It will only work with .wav and .aif files. That's the best "DJ" style program on the market.

You could also check http://www.audiotools.co.uk/ -- they have a fairly complete lsit of tools.
