Question Re: Http 500 Internet Server Error

Please Help!

I can't login part of my supplier's Website. The error message is "This page can not be reached, http 500 Internet server error".
The problem is I can go the supplier's Website, but I can't go to some part of the site even though I type the correct user ID and password. The supplier tries my ID and password; they don't have any problem to login. I can't go to that site at work through router and even at home through direct connection. I am using Windows 2000 server and workstation.

It may be some kind of authentications back to me as I am able to login but when authentication is sent back it's being kicked out. What ports do I need to open on our router to allow this? The supplier has no problem to login with my user ID and password. I don't know why I can't login from my computer.

Please HELP!! Thank you.

Judy

It is not a problem on your end. The problem lies on your suppliers end. I would email their tech support for a fix.

Do you have a proxy server? Try bypassing the proxy server and relogging in.

You might also ask your supplier to check their error logs to see if they can determine what is happening from there. See also if they can test it by logging in from an external connection, i.e. not through their internal servers. You may even try it on a friends machine just to narrow down the problem a bit.

It also sounds kind of silly but make sure that they didn't change the link on you.
