Question How to auto-refresh page AND alert on changes?

Hello,

I'm looking for something (program/addon/browser/Firefox extension) that will allow me to load a page, set it to reload at a certain time interval (say every 15 minutes), minimize it, and then alert me only when the page changes.

Does anything like this exist? I did a search, and I have the Reload Every extension now. It works fine, but it doesn't offer any kind of alert when a page has changed. I also tried the browser from myrefresher.com, but that alerts every time it refreshes (if you choose) and not only if something changes.

Is there any other way to do this?

Thanks.

Well I think I found the answer to my own question:

URLy Warning.

I'm going to give that a shot.

I don't know of anything that will alert you if the page changes. Does the site offer a RSS feed?

Thanks, that's a good thought, but it doesn't. URLy Warning seems to be working great so far.
