Hey guys, I have a problem when connecting to hotmail either through Messenger or hotmail.com. When I atempt to connect after I fill the login and password fields, it takes a long time to load a page that says "unable to connect", you can still see in the bar on the bottom page the dialogue that says "opening page....." the Internet connection seems to be working 100% fine, I can work prefectly with the Internet and everything, but when it comes to hotmail, it doesn't load even with different accounts, it always does the same.
I though that Windows Firewall or Privacy had something to do with it but I changed allowed sites on privacy but it didn't work, and even shut down windows firewall to see if that was the problem but nothing. It happened about 3 weeks ago.

It may have just been a server problem on Hotmail's end. |

I had problems with hotmail for 3 days, but everything is finally back to normal today. Probably as Alaron stated, server problems.

I too have been having hotmail problems for about three weeks. I cannot explain it and when you do a search for the problem you get hits from many years past. Too bad there is not a up-to-date hotmail forum somewhere.
I swear, if I was not a hotmail user for ten years I would be all over gmail already. |

Ok, that is fixed, how did it happen? I am not sure, but my friend told me that he accessed his hotmail account from some other computer I think from a cafe Internet and he told me that when I tried it, it worked just fine over there, so when he went back home again his account started to work fine, it must be a server problem or a server file. Thanks!
