doubleclick spyware
Exactly where does this spyware come from, and how can I permanently block it from coming back?
I run Ad-Aware 4.55 and delete this same piece of junk every time I use the internet. Thanks. |

It loads with the ad banners on the page. And although you can disable cookies to prevent it from loading it will also screw-up your surfing. The real problem with Doubleclick, Flyswat, Comet cursor (These People should be arrested as hackers), bizrate and the other spyware is the cookie they leave that communicates back about everywhere else you go.
The best way is just run ad-aware before you shut down or get a program like Windows washer from www.webroot.com and set it to auto wash every time you shutdown.Zone Alarm Firewall (Free) will block the spyware cookie from communicating out but will not block it from loading on your machine. Also you can open your browser and go to Tools>Internet Options>Security>Custom> Page Down and Disable Cookies that are stored on your computer and enable Per-Session Cookies. |
