Question Red X's instead of pics

Runn'in IE6. What's the deal with the little red x's instead of ie properly displaying pict's. I've had the same problem with previous versions of ie. Would appreciate info and how to fix this anoying problem. I stink this has been covered before, but, I no longer have the info. ~Thanx for your time

The red x's are not caused by IE, they are displayed because IE can't find the picture on the webserver. So the designer of the website made a mistake.

If there are no pictures on any websites... maybe the checkbox in tools/options advanced tab, multimedia/show pictures is unchecked.

If no pictures at all on any site display (which is unlikely since you the reply button here is an image file), then check to see if pictures are turned off in the browser setup. If they look like , then they did like I did in this post and gave the path to a picture that wasn't there.
