Question FrontPage 2000 Metatag problems with frames

Hi
I have a frames website. When I try to put keywords etc in, everything is fine and they show in the original documents, but if I go "view source" from the internet, there's nothing there. I eventually found the "frames area" ie Frames, Frame Properties, and it will allow me to put Title, keywords, etc in there, but they don't come out in the right order (ie if I view the source code from the internet, I get HTML, Head, author, web promotion, description, title, keywords. I can't seem to be able to put them in the right order as I can't find the actually "frame" file to alter. All the right metatags are in the right order on each of the separate pages that make up the frame.

Any help appreciated!

Gayle

Gayle, metatags have always been a problem with frames which is why it is sometimes harder to get a page with frames to show up on search engines. Personal opinion is that frames for the most part are dead. One of the main reasons for using frames was so you didn't have to recreate your header and footer on every page. And if something changed, then you could just change your frame and be done with it. Nowadays, there are much easier and better ways than using frames like PHP and ASP.
