Question Issues Running Multiple Versions of Firefox

hey im trying to run two seperate versions of ff (firefox). i setup the older version being 1.0.7 as my default and than through some configurations following these exact guidelines:

http://blog.dojotoolkit.org/2005/12/...x-side-by-side

i than configured the secondary version of ff being the up to date version 1.5.0.6 but the only problem lies in when i go to open each version in their own seperate window. both windows are running the same version of ff and when i go to run one or the other i get instances where firefox tells me the extensions im using are incompatible with the current version im running.. so if ur still with me here this leads me to believe that despite the fact i created a new profile through the batch file i made for firefox 1.5 i think both versions are trying to run off the default profile, and thats whats causing all the complications.

so if any1 has any ideas, suggestions, or helpful info i would greatly appreciate it, and im sry if this confused u :/

I would advise you not run anything other than 1.5.0.6, anything older has security issues.

Cool

regardless of the older ff versions security issues i need to run both versions for what im currently doing. i have an older program for an online game that needs to run on 1.0.7 so when im not usin the older ff i want to be able to use the up to date ff variant to do all my browsing etc... :P
