Angry Fire AIM Problem that's driving me nuts

I haven't been able to figure out how to fix this problem with aim. I am running aim ver. 5.5 by the way.
It gives me this error box stating:
A Runtime Error has occured, do you wish to debug?

Line: 13
Error: 'adsD' is undefined

when I run the script editor I see the following for that value:

var hr=adsD.getHours();

Thanks for any help!

You aren't the only one - Google returns quite a few hits. The common thread seems to be spyware related. I'd make sure the machine is clean, make sure script debugging is disabled and display script errors is unchecked in Internet Options - and uninstall/reinstall AIM. You can get older versions from oldversion.com, I use 5.5 build 3572 with the ads hacked out in my hosts file.
