Help with .mpg and html page
I need a little help please. I am currently in the process of making a small presentation/training cd, for the company I work for. Can someone please explain how to stream video from a web page that is located on a cd?
When I use a hyperlink on the html page to the file it gives me choice of saving or opening from the current location. I do not want that dialogue box, when the link is clicked, I would like for the video (.mpg) to automatically open and play. Does someone know how to do this? Please help, this one has me stumped! Thanks in advance, surf |

You've got to create a .wma file which will allow Media Player to stream the .mpg. MPEG's by nature do not stream to my knowledge.

I use Media Cleaner to create my .asf and .wma/.wmf streams. Rather expensive option. Do a search on download.com for mpeg streams or something of that flavor.

See my post.
Just insert "video". If you want the controls, you have to use the activex controls! mpeg, mpg works fine. I just finished my cd. ![]() example: Code:
so much for the ubb code tag...
