Banner performance Tracking
A friend sells Motorcycle accessories through his website and was offered the opportunity to place an ad banner linking his website to a much more active site. The fee is $500 per month. How would he go about tracking how many visits he recieved to his site from the banner ad to determine if it's worth the investment?

Having a flat rate for banners is probably not a good idea. A more effective way to do it might be to go for banner impressions or click through's if possible.
Re: tracking banners .. the simplest way is to use an existing script. For example there are a few here: http://www.hotscripts.com/PHP/Script...nge/index.html |
