Faulty installation of Netscape
Some years ago I installed Netscape using Physicians Online which is now defunct as Physicians Online now uses a web site. On deleting Physicians Online the Netscape program was lost and also the connection to the internet and email
Recovery was made by re-installing Physicians Online. How can a fresh start be made by removing Physicians Online? Thanks Colin. |

What version of Netscape is this?
4.x versions of Netscape keep all data (cache, cookies, mail, and bookmarks) under 'users' in the program directory. If you back up this users directory then move it back to wherever you install a standard version of Netscape, all settings, emails, and bookmarks will be transferred. I'm not sure if this will work with 3.x versions of Netscape, been awhile since I used them and don't remember if the directory structure is the same or not to be honest. Xayd |
