In IE, select Tools/Internet Options/Programs. At the top of the list is HTML editor, change this to FP and click okay. That's it.

Hi Mairving:

I select Internet Options and programs, the only option I have under HTML Editor is Windows Notepad. It doesn't allow me to type FTP. All I want is to add Microsoft FrontPage under HTML Editor. Please help ASAP. Thanks a lot.

Try this:

Open up an explorer window. Double clicking on My Computer will do it.

Go to Tools/Folder Options/File Types. You will have a scrollbox with extensions and File Types.

Go to Htm, click Advanced, click the Edit then click the Edit button. Whatever default editor you have there, you can change to FP. In the image that I have uploaded, my default HTML editor is Notepad. To change to FP, on the application used to perform action, put in your path to FP followed by %1.Click okay and you are done, almost. You need to do this with every IE extension like .htm, .html, etc.

Hope this helps.
