Question internet connection sharing

I already looked in the search part here and found several articles on the
subject,but still do need to know if you can install a patch or something in
winfe to get internet connection sharing to work with a winse machine.heck not
even sure how to set any of it up for sure.Any good links or answers are greatly
appreciated.

Well only the machine that has the connection needs to have at least win98se or better. The other machines just need to have DHCP enabled and can have 98fe etc., on them. Which OS does the server (or machine with Internet Connection) have? Which OS(s) do/does the client(s) have? HTH

Thanks

Hey thanks for the help floppyman and cobra.Sorry for not getting
back to quick,but been working on another machine for my neice to
go to Italy with.The machine with the connection was the fe one
and the other with se.Sounds like I need to check out this download
or switch the machines on which is to connect.Never done this
before and was trying to help A guy out at work whos son is in a
apartment at college and I had him buy a crossover cable and he already
had network cards and modems and I thought he could do it,but found out
different,so I was trying to help him out.Thanks and anymore Ideas let
me know.mq1

That link gives you step-by-step instructions.
Windows First Edition does not support ICS. Use the FE machine as the connection sharing computer (modem hooked to phone line) and load ICS on the SE machine, or use Analog X like Cobra says.

Maybe I have that bass ackwards. Switch the modem from the machine in which you tried the first time and give it a shot.

Yeah, sorry, the CLIENT must be your Windows FE, the connection sharing computer 98SE.
