"error opening file for writing" means what?
I have a friend whos trying to install Azureus software on his computer. He has windows XP. 500mb RAM , 2.8G processor. He downloaded it, saved it to C: drive and when he tries to install it, he gets an error that states "error opening file for writing". What the heck does that mean and what can he do to fix it? Is it a problem with his computer or is it a problem with the file he downloaded?
thanks |

You could try to download the file again and see if it was just a corrupt download.

Are you sure Azureus is not already installed and running? It can't write over itself.
