Auto Updates
Morning All
Apologies if this has been covered previously but does anyone know of a decent website that will scan my system and automatically update all my drivers / software with the latest patches / versions? My machine has been 'offline' for about 6 months so am wary that it's currently running in the dark ages! I know my Microsoft update kicks in but am wary that it may be pants compared to an independant updater. Any help much appreciated. Cheers Nicksterrr |

Is everything running properly? If it ain't broke, don't fix it.
However, you do need to update all your security software, most software of this type (antivirus, antispyware, etc.) has updaters within the programs, use them. I have not seen any software/sites that you speak of since the days of CNet's CatchUp. It's long gone. If you really want to do the research for updates, you are probably going to have to visit each site manually. |
