Blog Engine

Hello All!

I want to install a blog engine on my site, and just looking for some feedback and/or opinions as to which one is better, my current choices through the hosting provider are on the poll.

Thank You.

b2evolution is a great system for multi-user blogs and WordPress is probably the best personal solution.

Moreover, WordPress is much more easy to maintain than b2evolution.

I installed WP on my domain but I am getting the following error:

Can’t select database

We were able to connect to the database server (which means your username and password is okay) but not able to select the XXXXXXX_wrdp1 database.

* Are you sure it exists?
* On some systems the name of your database is prefixed with your username, so it would be like username_wordpress. Could that be the problem?

I checked through the control panel (mySQL) and the XXXXXXX_wrdp1 does exist

Any suggestions?

To avoid redundant names Cpanel will often add your username to the database without your asking. Can you connect to the database in Cpanel?
