IE6/7, outlook express, and games lost

I cannot find anymore Internet Explorer, or outlook Express on my start menu, also my normal games are gone (Free Cell, Internet cheques etc.). I have downloaded IE7 and run the install setup but no luck here neither. It must be installed somewhere as I downloaded an update of the Google Toolbar and when I tried to install it onto my usual brownser Opera it started IE7. Could anyone tell me what happened or did they hear of something similar? Many thanks
JC

start>control panel>add/remove programs>add/remove windows components>under accessories and utilities select the details box, and see if games is checked. if not check it, if it is uncheck it and click ok, next go to internet explorer and outlook express and look to see if they are checked and unchecked as you did with games. follow those instructions and then click next.

if you unchecked all three of them then go back into add/remove windows components and check all three and choose next to see if that restores them to your start menu.

Ob1, thank you thank you and thank you again. Do you know why I had lost them in the first place by any chance?
