two quick questions on firefox
I've just downloaded Firefox2 and Thunderbird. It's supposed to be faster but it's seems to be a lot slower that IE 6. Also I've made it the default, how do I change back because it opens even when I click IE. How do I get Tbird on the Firefox page so I don't have to open it separately? Thanks.

I believe Firefox is faster than IE for browsing but it is slower to load the browser initially.
If you want to set IE as the default browser then you should be prompted to do so when you open IE...the fact that the IE Icon is opening Firefox is not related to setting Firefox as the default. What do you mean by: How do I get Tbird on the Firefox page so I don't have to open it separately?

To make IE the default - control panel, Internet options, programs, check the box - and in FF, tools, options, main, uncheck the box. Open IE and it will ask.

There is an extension for FF that you can download called email notifier tool bar. It places a email image in your tool bar that you can setup with all of the info for ThunderBird to automatically notify you when you have mail & allow you to open it.

Well to explain my self a little better: I downloaded the Firefox 2 and I already had Thunderbird. I was never able to access T Bird from Firefox even though I got the download that was supposed to work. Now I was wondering what I needed to do with the new browser to get the email to work similar to IE's. Jgis explained that for me thanks. Every time I opened FF I got the "do you want---" message so I just cliked make it default. Then I couldn't open IE anymore because to click the icon opened FF again. It also later jacked the icon all together. I've since figured out how to make IE the default again. Just a little hunting.
