yahoo mail ads

maybe i haven't noticed it before or maybe it's new but mail that i send through yahoo mail (beta) comes with an advertisement attached.

has this always been going on or is this new?

i don't like it (although i can't really complain since it's a free service).

As far as I know it's always put "Do you Yahoo!?" at the bottom of every message you send from their free service.

I have used Yahoo as my primary e mail for years, tried their new beta software, used their Business E mail for a while, and one of the common elements throughout all of these is the advertisements.

With the free web e mail I put up with it, but when I saw it on my outgoing Business e mails from Yahoo, for which I was paying a monthly fee, I immedialtey cancelled. I called their support number and heard the same excuse one would expect from a free service: we use those ads to help pay for the service.

So I think you may not have noticed it before, but my guess is that they were there.

Check out the all-new Yahoo! Mail beta - Fire up a more powerful email and get things done faster.
