When Phone Rings IE5.0 SP2 Replicates Itself Uncontrolably?

Hi, I have only one phone line and have used the 70* code to disable call waiting but whn someone calls and i am online the browser gets epileptic convulsions replicating browser windows and disconnects. I don't know if it disconects first and then the browsers just keep opening or the other way around, it all happens really fast. Can anyone tell me what is happening, what is causing this, and how do I stop it? Wooosh, there I got it all out now and feel better already! lolol Thanks all

Shouldn't that be *70 instead of 70*?
Doubt that is causing the problem and it is probably just a typo, but it is all I have to offer.
