Diffulcult to read threads

Here's the story, whenever I log on to PCMech and start to read a thread this happens -

"I have been using Sony
Neither of them will reconise DVD blank discs, when you use Nerocomputer
Is it possible that both drives have developed
a fault. Can anybody HELP.

instead of this -

I pulled these quotes from the HDD/Storage area as an example. It's been happening for about 2-3 months now. I believe it started when the underneath ads were placed. The first set of quotes are from using Opera 8.54 and the second is using IE6. I only have this problem when I'm here and using Opera. It doesn't happen anywhere except for this site. I should have posted this sooner but it just recently dawned on me that it might be the ads causing the problem. This scrambling of text also happens on any page I browse within the PCMech site.

My specs:

XP Pro Sp1
P4 2.8 ghz
1 GB of RAM
Asus P4SD-LA motherboard
Opera 8.54 (preferred browser)
IE6 available

Is it a problem with the site or is it Opera?

Thanks for your insight and help.

Have you tried clearing your cache?

You could also try upgrading Opera, it is up to 9.02 now. http://www.opera.com/

Alaron, I did clear the cache and that did not help. However the Opera upgrade seemed to fix the problem. I hadn't updated yet because I had heard that 9.0 was a little buggy. I did not realize that they had moved that quick with further updates.

Anyway thanks for your help. I greatly appreciate it.
