Freewwweb connection

Could someone explain me this:
I connect using Freewwweb. In evening hours(6-11p.m.) I get good connection- 42.6, 45.5Kbps. In systray light are on. But everything seams like freeze- pages don't load. Sometimes to check my mail takes forever. Sometimes in about 5 min. everything OK. Sometimes when I try to connect, I get "invalid userID or password", in a min. or two I get connection without any problems.
After midnight, also other times but evening pages load fast.

Is it Freewwweb servers screwing things up?
Should I consider to dump them, because Freewwweb is free and no one found to complain to? Tech support does not exist.

Does anyone else has same experience?

Sounds like a traffic snarl. Evenings is when most folks are using, so... midnight most of 'em are hitting the sack, freeing resources for you.

They are very oversubscribed. Same symptoms as AOL.......

Try Worldspy. That is the only other free ISP that I know of that doesn't shove ad banners in your face and dump you every 30 minutes.
