Thunderbird issue?

I use to be able to open Thunderbird, open an email, then click on a link, then my browser would open to that page (link).

It won't do that now...how do I get that to work again?

I would double check, and make sure Firefox is the default browser, >Tools>Options>Main> at the bottom hit the check now.
