Updating to IE 7?

When IE 7 first came out I read some place to not update right away. The articile said to wait for the bugs to be worked out. So I have disabled the auto-update and install on all my windows computers. I now go to windows update and do it myself. I would like to go back to having the computer check and do it. So what do you think, should I do that or not?

99% of the time updates come out on the second Tuesday of the month. I usually check for updates the next day..

On the other hand, millions of people including myself, have downloaded IE7 and have not had any issues.

Go for it. Worst comes to worst you can uninstall it. I successfully uninstalled it from a system and ie6 worked as it always did after that. There's no reason not to try it - I did't like it at first but it grows on you.

I would say that you are pretty safe now. Keep in mind that IE7 has gone through numerous test phases in addition to the final test period you've waited through.
