Probs. w/ Outlook Express log-in
I set up my sister-in-laws (old) laptop with ATT/Yahoo dsl. I configured her Outlook Express according to ATT's settings. She opens Outlook Express, puts in her password, clicks "ok", and the log in window comes back up...over and over... so she can't log in. I went into MS AND Yahoo help and couldn't really find anything that addressed this particular issue.
Any ideas? Thanks Last edited by paJAMbla; 01-03-2007 at 09:57 PM. |

Wrong username and/or password or POP server name - there's nothing else it can be.

re-checked POP. Isn't the password the same as the ATT/Yahoo password automatically? That's the password we were using.

Yes. Username needs to be the full e-mail address, and here the server is pop.sbcglobal.yahoo.com.
