real player8 ?
 I attempted, in vain, to down load real player8. It was the free version that comes with pbs.org.First it took 15 minutes to download a 70K file, then my monitor cut out (black screen) the only thing that worked, finally, was hitting restart. God knows were the file I was ostensibly downloading ended up ( this is with DSL by the way). Is it my problem or theirs? I'd drop this but I really do want Nova's web-casts. |

I've solved my own problem. No trouble downloading at 12:00am. I also noticed that my dsl connection was faster then. Apparently this is connected to a "traffic tie-up".
