Our networking person is out of the office and I need some help ASAP. We have a database that is used every minute to update customer's accounts. We need to see the updates on customers but when we query a customer's name it returns no results. that is for everyone. I know they're there, but I don't get an error either.

What setting might be wrong? Any suggestions are appreciated. thanks

check out ur NT eventviewer logs of Applications .. find out the error being stored on server. Post that here,
also, check
a) ODBC DSN for the application is not changed
b) IN IIS mgmt console, enable sending detailed error message to client, this will give detailed 8000x4000 kind off error code, find that out and post it .. or if you have access to M$ (@#$%^) Technet, search there
c) your global.asa file, if it may be corrupt. (i am assuming that your programmers used global.asa approach to code)
