Got one here that is really got me baffled. You can boot it up and it try's to use the dial up (rnaapp)first thing before you even try to run anything. No big deal, but I can not get it to stop doing it. Here's the really strange part. If you just ingnore it and let it set there, it will continue to open up a new dial up connection until you have the tasbar full of or connect or cancel one of them.
I have checked startup items unchecked them all, rechecked them, looked through all the settings in IE, Norton antivirus (even disabled it),Unistalled a few unneeded progarams, and restarted about 20 times with the same result. Any new ideas? |

You have some app somewhere on the system that's trying to "phone home" - likely suspect is Real Player. To stop this, go into your Internet Options - Connections - and set it to "never dial a connection".

Yeah could be Real Player, I didn't mess with it, but when the friend took it home he claims it does not do it anymore. He called and told me and I said, "Yeah, that's cuz I fixed it" heh!
