Problem with connection to my Host - but all others ok

Hi,
I have a reseller account with Hostgator and today when I go into my host cpanel the conneciton keeps timing out, or not connecting, or can't find page, etc.

My response was, of course, to go to support and check if there were server problems but they reported back that all si ok as far as they are concerned - but it still keeps happening.

How do I trouble shoot this? It's not happened before and my connectiojn with all other locations is as usual. But every time I try with my host cpanel the same happens and has been going on all day now.

Any thoughts gratefully received.

Have you tried clearing your cache/temp internet files? What about a different browser? ipconfig /flushdns? Restart your modem/router?

Are you connecting from the same location as you've done in the past? Their support section showed this as a possible cause:

Why can't I log into my cPanel or webmail?

Most office buildings as well as hotels have a firewall setup to block access to the ports required for cPanel, WHM, and webmail to load. These ports are 2086 and 2087. They might possibly be able to remove these blocks from their firewall.

Thanks guys - it went on like that most of the day but seems to have cleared now.
Yes, I cleared the cache, ran ccleaner, etc but nothing seemed to have any direct result. I was trying to access from my usual computer at home.

So: unexplained.
But thanks for reading and taking the time to offer suggestions.
