Microsoft Office Outlook - automatically setting an email account
Ok's, first of all i hope i post this in the right section.
What i wanna do goes like this: ![]() Remember this wizard when setting up a new email account... Well I'm in some computers course, where when we login windows and open up outlook, we have to configure it every time over and over again (not always but depends...) We use the Microsoft exchange server option. Anyway what i wanna do is to make some script, run parameters, input file anything to make it do the job alone every time i run outlook (or other shortcut that calls outlook in the process). What is needed in the wizard after selecting Microsoft exchange server is simply press next, till u get the server name and user name then press next again till the end. so there must be a way to make it automatically like (outlook - If anyone know ill be very thankful. I hope i was clear on the problem. |

On versions of Office prior to 2007 you would have to install Office using the setup /a switch which copies the install to a network share. From there you would have to build a custom .mst file with your Exchange and any other additional settings. You can even add SP's or other updates to it. In Office 2007 all you have to do is to install with the setup /admin switch and it would take you through the admin install. Here is some more information for you.
