what happened to my search bar?

mom niece was pressing buttons on the computer and now when you open up internet explorer, it doesnt have that bar thingy that you type in www.blahblah, how can i get that back??

At the top of an Internet Explorer page, click on View>Toolbars and make sure there is a check next to Address Bar.

Ok. Go back to the same area and uncheck the Lock Toolbars. Then look off to the right and see if you see the word Address or a couple of > marks. Drag the Address to the left and down and it will return. Or click on the arrows and find it and drag it into position. Then relock the Tool bars.

thank you!!! i also have another question...if i press ctrl n for a new page, the second page comes up small, like really small where i have to maximize it...do you know how to fix that?

Close all IE pages, then open one by clicking on the blue E shortcut. Expand it to full size. Open a second window the same way and expand it too. Now, close the first window you opened. Then close the second window. All furture IE windows should open full screen after that.
