FireFox History

Ever since i've used firefox, it has never kept any history, except it will if I don't close the program. I have checked all the options, and by the options, i should have all history kept til i die basically, and it just won't. Any ideas on what could solve this? Thanks.

When you say you've checked the options, which ones have you checked? Do you mean just the History tab under the Privacy section where you can select how many days it keeps it? Because in case you haven't checked it yet, there are more settings under the box at the bottom of that Privacy section marked "Settings". Make sure "Browser History" and "Clear Private Data When Closing Firefox" are NOT checked also. If you've already checked those too, then I don't know what could be causing it.

I just checked them, and they weren't checked. I don't know what it could be, do you know of any addons that may cause it?

I wouldn't think any addons would be doing it. Only other thing I can think of is maybe something in your current profile is corrupt and not working right. If that's the case, you could always try migrating your current settings to a different profile like explained HERE. I kinda doubt that too though, so I'd wait and see if someone else comes up with the answer before trying that or a total reinstall of Firefox as a last resort.
