Outlook Express question

Hi,

I've got Outlook Express on my two networked computers (one PC one laptop) and have an annoying issue I'd like to see resolved...

E-mails I've opened on one machines OE don't appear on the other machines OE. I like to refer back to e-mails previously opened but have to access them from the PC in which they were read. Also, I have different contact e-mail addresses on each machine.

I'd somehow like all my e-mails (opened or unopened) to appear on both machines (same with my contacts). Can this be done?

I hope this query makes sense.

Any help would be very much appreciated.

TIA.

Colin.

You need to configure OE to "leave a copy on the server".

Open OE>tools at the top>Accounts>pick your account>properties>advanced tab>look at the bottom under delivery

The only thing you will have to remember is to go into the server and delete the old emails every now and then, or else you will use all the space your ISP allow you.

You can also set it to delete items off the server after X number of days - or when the deleted items folder is emptied.

Thanks, yes, I've set it to delete after 7 days.
