Program To Switch Between IE7 & Firefox 2

Does anyone know of a simple program that will let you switch between default browsers . I use Firefox 2 most of the time and I have IE 7 also . I have to use IE7 for support from my ISP & a couple of other places . I had Firefox as the default but I went into ad/remove programs to access program defaults & made IE7 default again.

I would rather use Firefox most of the time but I do need IE7 on occasion .

Firefox has an extension called IE view for download that handles that function quite well.

You don't have to keep changing default browsers - pick one and if you need to use the other, just use it.

Okay , glc but how do I change default browsers other than the way I described . I could not find a way to get back IE7 except doing that , I mean its like Firefox took over , not that I minded I like Firefox . I just need IE7 for some online chat support for ISP and such . I was still getting Windows automatic updates when Firefox was the default browser .

I just messed myself up a couple of times when I was in Firefox and tried to chat with customer support and could not connect . I guess I know now which ones use IE & ones that don't .

I downloaded the IE Tab ad-on for Firefox , they said it was supposed to change over to IE & still be in Firefox by left clicking on the page but its not working like that for me . Do you know how that ad-on works? Thanks

Here's the IE View add-on https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/35/ that jgis19 mentioned.

Even if Firefox is the default browser, all you have to do to use IE is click on the big blue E on the desktop, quicklaunch, or start menu. IE will open. I have six browsers on here and can use any of them. Opera happens to be my default because I use it the most.

IE Tab puts an icon in the right-hand side of Firefox's status Bar (bottom of browser). To change from Firefox to IE, just click on the icon.

Thumbs up

Thanks , I was very tired last night when I was trying to figure the IE Tab out . I asked on the Mozziline forum and they were telling me I thought to just click on the page itself . I did not notice the icon in the bottom right . I tried , its working . Thanks Again
