Problems sending information to my online bank

I keep getting the following message when Itry to connect to my online banking site to try to pay bills and transfer moneybetween accounts when I have entered what I want to doand click confirmI getfollowing message eventually.

The connection was reset. The connection to the server was reset while the page was loading.

* The site could be temporarily unavailable or too busy. Try again in a few
moments.

* If you are unable to load any pages, check your computer's network
connection.

* If your computer or network is protected by a firewall or proxy, make sure
that Firefox is permitted to access the Web.

Can anyone help I have Mozilla Firefox instead of internet explorer. I have windows firewall enabled. I also use windows XP Professional
