Question

someone has asked me to fix and then sell (on a commision basis) an old Mac color classic. It seems fine except I can't get the printer working and I don't know what it is realy worth.

Can anyone recommend a good apple forum?

John,
I have a link for you. It's at work so I'll post it in a couple of hours.

Also, if you've never used a Mac before, here's the first thing to check. Under the Apple menu in the upper left, go to the "Chooser" and make sure the correct printer is selected. Of course, make sure the correct printer driver is installed. It will then show up in the "Chooser". Also, on many models, you have to make sure "Apple Talk" is active. This is in the "Chooser" also. If you've done all that and it still doesn't work, you've got some other problem.
