Hi nightsky,
What problems are you having with EnZip? I've been using it for a long time and I like it much better than WinZip. WinZip and EnZip are almost the same, except that EnZip is freeware. Both are pretty easy to use.

TG - Dr Zaius
I simply don't know how to unzip downloads that require more than writing them into RUN: and I cld not access help files for EnZip300. Can you provide me with some step by step instructions? I really am not even familiar with the terminology and functions of the various options. The interface for enzip looked promising but alot of it was greyed out on the download frm Znet. I will try downloading it again if you can help me learn to use it. I am working on a PC hardware repair project and need to unzip large files that span multiple floppies, ie. video crd intallation software. Thanks

nightsky: Here is a link to the latest version directly from the authors site. Run the installer program and when it asks you if you want to launch the program click OK. Also click OK when it asks to associate files, this will add EnZip to the right click menu for .zip files. Now you can control most actions with the right click menu, just right click on a file and you can choose to extract the contents into that directory, a new directory, or somewhere else. If you have multiple .zip files (like on multiple disks) you can just create a new directory and extract all the .zip files into that directory. If you have any questions feel free to ask, I'll help you out.

Am download it right now. Ok when I right click a folder it opens then how do i install it? Like w/the video crd drivers and such? Can i access the newly downloaded software and run driver update frm Device Manager and install it that way? I am confused b/c each time i tried to install i wld windup with a new folder, ie disk1, disk1.zip,sipper, and like that the end result being i cld not run anything frm start>run. Told u I had a low learning curve for this. lol

You are making things overly difficult for yourself by using the Run box - you can just go into Windows Explorer and find the executable file and double click it.

nightsky: Like I mentioned in the last post, create one folder called "Video Driver" and then extract all of the files from each .zip file into that directory. Then just use Device Manager to install the drivers from that directory. Like glc said, don't use the Run box, just double click on the icon.

Instead of Winzip, try PowerArchiver. Free clone of winzip.
