Pl Read-Hard to explain

Couple of days ago I ran the "search and Destroy" spy remover software on my XP PC having the latest version of Windows Explorer. Since then I can nolonger access a certain page. I did see the software warning about site with advertisment that may not function properly after running the search and destroy. Since then I have uninstalled the software and tried restoring to earlier times, but the problem still exists.
Welcome any insights
Thanks in advance

First of all... we need more information...

What software are you talking about, and what website was it, exactly?
