Does Win98 SE support 2 peer-to-peer computers using one Internet connection via modem? The 2 computers are connected with ethernet cards, one has a modem. What is needed to get the second computer to be able to connect to the internet through the computer with the modem.
I've looked under HELP, but I'm not even sure of the term to look under. I haven't found anything about this, but I thought I've read that SE offered this capability. |

You can use ICS in win98 se, below is a guide to setup, you only need 2 nics in one machine if you're using cable or dsl, if you're using regular dial-up, one nic will be replaced by a modem. You have the correct setup right now

The gateway machine has to be 98SE, the clients can be ninety anything. Upgrading a 95 machine to Winsock 2.2 would be advisable.
