Hey there fellow AMERICANS!!
Here's my little problem. I'm running IE on NTWS 4.0 SP6a. I have a couple of additional toolbars that I load. One is the iWon CoPilot, the others are Webferret and Surfpal. I've never had any troubles with any of these till today. Today I get a message that the iWon CoPilot has been updated so I try to update it and get an error no biggie, figured I'd just unload the toolbar and try again, this is where things get interesting. I go to View > Toolbars and uncheck the iWon CoPilot bar and my Surfpal toolbar disappears. Then I try my unchecking Surfpal and Webferret disappears. Then when I uncheck Webferret iWon CoPilot disappears. So I figured that if I upgraded to IE6 this would all get taken care of, uh, uh, no go. Not only did it not fix the problem with the toolbars now I have some ActiveX issues but only on one website. www.wrif.com if anyone else is running IE6 please check that site to see if you get the same thing. Thanks GeneC |

Hi. I have IE6 running on Windows ME & had no probs when I clicked on the link. I read your other post under IE6 problems, so I tried disabling "Run Active X Controls & Plug-ins" in the security tab. When I went back, I got that same error message you stated in your other post. Hope this helps.
