Angry Fire IE Tool Bars

Hey there fellow AMERICANS!!
Here's my little problem. I'm running IE on NTWS 4.0 SP6a. I have a couple of additional toolbars that I load. One is the iWon CoPilot, the others are Webferret and Surfpal. I've never had any troubles with any of these till today. Today I get a message that the iWon CoPilot has been updated so I try to update it and get an error no biggie, figured I'd just unload the toolbar and try again, this is where things get interesting. I go to View > Toolbars and uncheck the iWon CoPilot bar and my Surfpal toolbar disappears. Then I try my unchecking Surfpal and Webferret disappears. Then when I uncheck Webferret iWon CoPilot disappears. So I figured that if I upgraded to IE6 this would all get taken care of, uh, uh, no go. Not only did it not fix the problem with the toolbars now I have some ActiveX issues but only on one website. www.wrif.com if anyone else is running IE6 please check that site to see if you get the same thing.

Thanks
GeneC

Hi. I have IE6 running on Windows ME & had no probs when I clicked on the link. I read your other post under IE6 problems, so I tried disabling "Run Active X Controls & Plug-ins" in the security tab. When I went back, I got that same error message you stated in your other post. Hope this helps.
