mshtml error in internet explorer 5.5

I have been getting an mshtml.dll error in internet explorer 5.5. Is there anything I can do to correct this error? It does not matter what site I am on, it crashes periodically. Anything I can do to fix this problem.. I have 98SE. I have had 5.1 and 5.0 and they have crashed too with blue screen errors and such as well. No blue screen with 5.5 but just this error. I have tried reinstalling so any other suggestions would be helpful here.

Can you please be more specific? Next time it happens, click the "Details" button instead of the "Close" button and post what it says. We don't need the stack dump, just the first detailed description of the error.
