Opera-getting error codes

I just downloaded and began using Opera today. After 6 months of using mainly IE 7 and FF, I am ready to try Opera again for a number of reasons.

Using Opera v 9.2 with XP, 1 GB RAM.

The problem? I am getting a window full of error codes each time my Outlook 2003 (AVG scans all incoming e mails) tries to retrieve e mails from Yahoo.com.

How can I turn off this error console? I looked in preferences, but nothing seems to allow that change. The error specifically mention pop.3 problems, but it is getting the e mails properly.

Ideas?

How exactly is this related to opera? It sounds like an email problem. Could you describe what's actually happening clearly? Is it when you click on a link in an email in Outlook?

It is an Opera Error Console which is coming up every 20-40 seconds to show the problem. IE doesn't do it under the same situation, Firefox doesn't do it, only the Opera specific feature called Error Console.

I found the Error Console under TOOLS-ADVANCED within Opera, but can't find a way to turn off the Error Console alert.

No, it has nothing to do with clicking on a link within an e mail. It happens no matter what application I am working in, MS Word, Excel, etc. I am connected at all times to the internet, and Opera is giving reports about its issues when it tries to connect to POP3 to retreive Yahoo mail.

I fixed this problem the other day when I found that Opera had set up some sort of script for my POP3 account. I deleted the script and the constant errors stopped immediately.
