I haven't been keeping up with all the new upgrades. Today I got a message in my browser about this new upgrade. Has anyone used it. Is it worth upgrading too or will it screw up my browser which has been working flawlessly?
Here is the note that I got:
New and improved, the Search Assistance upgrade lets you find the information you need quickly and easily. Our new Internet Explorer Search service works faster to save you time by harnessing the power of the whole internet. Using proprietary meta-search technology, the web's most powerful search engines are scanned for websites most closely matching your search. In addition to these sites, links to the original search results at each of the search engines is presented for those who wish to view all the results found. You can use the built in meta-search or choose from over 25 of the internet's leading search engines. This upgrade is currently available only for Windows 95, Windows 98, Windows 2000 and Windows NT versions of Microsoft Internet Explorer 4.x and 5.x.
